Christina Collins joined St. Charles Singers in 2016 and loves singing with such an inspiring group of musicians!

Christina teaches at Fremd High School in Palatine. She works with four curricular choirs, extracurricular a cappella, and is the vocal director for the musical. Christina attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduating with highest honors (Bronze Tablet) and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at Illinois, she performed in numerous choirs and The Rip Chords a cappella group. Additionally, Christina enjoyed spending a summer in Granada, Spain to minor in Spanish. She completed a Master’s degree in Music Education and Kodaly Level 1 at DePaul University. Past awards include the James Newton Matthew Scholarship, Vocal Division Achievement Award, and Music Education Division Achievement Award at the University of Illinois and the Graduate Music Education Scholarship at DePaul University.

Christina lives in Arlington Heights with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys fitness classes, traveling, and trying new restaurants (suggestions always appreciated)!
