Wesley Robinson
Baritone
This is Wes' first season with St Charles Singers. A native of Des Plaines, Illinois, Wes is proud to note that his hometown is the site of the very first McDonalds in America which is now a museum.
Wes graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor's in Music, emphasizing vocal performance and music business. Wes is currently looking for an opportunity to use his skills.
Wes had performed in a number of works including playing the part of Dr. Blind in Die Federmaus. He has also served as a chorus member for performances of Barber of Seville, Pirates of Penzance and he played the role of Ugly in Honk! The Musical.
Wes favorite composers include Robert Schuman and Ralph Vaughn Williams. While attending Drake he picked up an affinity for Jewish Klezmer music. When he's not doing musical things Wes enjoys watching the White Sox and going for jogs (ocassionally). He also likes to play videogames on the Nintendo Wii.
Wes feels that singing is always challenging and that it brings people together.
Wes has two sisters (one older and one younger), a small dog and three cats (for some reason...)
