
Ellen has been accompanying SCS for five years. She is originally from Lake in the Hills, Illinois. When she was ten, Ellen was a guest on the television program "Kid's World." She was filmed playing the piano and organ and also dancing in her living room.
Ellen is a Church Music graduate from St Olaf College and also has an M.M degree in Organ Performance from the University of Notre Dame.
Ellen volunteers as a children's choir director at St. Michael Church in Wheaton, Illinois and is also organist there.
Her favorite composers are J.S. Bach and John Rutter. For fun Ellen likes to swim, compose and arrange music and play tennis. Her composition The Fruit of Silence, with text by Mother Teresa, was premiered by the SCS in 2004.
Ellen is married with four children.
